ABIE stands for Australian Business in Europe.
ABIE is a networking organisation for business people and professionals of all sorts. By organising functions throughout the year ABIE aims to facilitate networking amoungst Australians living and working in the Netherlands and others living or working in Europe. Such netowkring provides a social basis for expats but also a basis from which international opportunities between Australia and the Netherlands can be fostered.
We invite Australians and Dutch people and anyone with connections with Australia to participate as a member of our organisation: an informal networking platform for business people pursuing bilateral interests in Australia and The Netherlands.
Founded in October 1975 to provide a forum for people associated with Australian industry and commerce, Australian Business in Europe (ABIE) is the leading networking organisation for Australian business persons in the UK and Europe. Did you also visit the Language recruitment fair?
ABIE provides regular social events and functions, including guest speakers and presentations from prominent Australian and European leading figures, giving members and their guests an opportunity to meet and interact with successful persons from diverse fields, including finance and banking, legal,
manufacturing, travel, tourism and hospitality, state and local government, the arts and a variety of service industries. ABIE welcomes persons from large and small organisations and provides an excellent network for those recently arrived or those already well-established in the UK.
